We are excited to offer high energy, instructive & fun summer camps for all levels of ability and experience ages 6-18. Sessions vary from 3 hours to 6 hours but all will include:
Start-up - Activities will change from day to day but will include goal-setting for the week, footwork and agility workout on paddle tennis court, fitness training to build muscle endurance, watching classic tennis matches, video game challenge, tennis quiz with access to web and tennis books for answers, general leisure reading.
Stroke development & production - Players work on stroke production (forehand, backhand, volley, overhead, serve, stop volley, drop shot, and trick shots, time allowing); this section will be videotaped to give players feedback on each part of their games, leading into open discussions where players get a better understanding of their own games.
Match play - Players will put their new strokes into offensive and defensive strategies, group games including doubles champions and world team tennis.
